Memphis sub shop coming to Louisville

Memphis, Tenn.-based Lenny’s Franchisor LLC, franchisor of Lenny’s Sub Shops, announced Friday that franchisee group Audie Services Inc. will open a restaurant in Louisville early next year — its first Lenny’s outlet in Kentucky.
Franchisee Dustin Childers and an investing partner plan to open a restaurant in eastern Jefferson County, with hopes to open three to five more in the area at a later time, according to a news release.
“There are several parallels between Memphis and Louisville,” Childers said in the release. “With the success of Lenny’s in Memphis, it is just a logical next step to develop the brand in this new market.”
The first Lenny's Sub Shop opened in 1998 in a Memphis suburb, offering subs and Philly Cheesesteaks.
In early August the third Indiana Lenny’s opened, on the campus of Purdue University in West Lafayette.
